Huts

Our huts are hand crafted, bespoke structures, fully insulated for all weathers.

Adapted for the Orkney climate, they offer a window to the stars and changing seasons. A closeness to nature, yet with a wonderfully luxurious feel.

We have 3 types of hut with differing facilities so choose the type of accommodation that would suit you best.

Pods

Basic huts but featuring insulation; futon mattresses; electric light, sockets and kettle and heated with an electric heater.

Shepherd’s huts

A higher degree of insulation; built in kingsize or double bed and heated with a woodburner. Beautifully crafted and stocked with everything you’d need.

Bothy

A higher degree of insulation; kitchen area and ensuite shower room. A king size box bed and hopefully a small snug bed area in roof with ladder. It will have hot water and electricity. Heated with a Hobbit wood stove and an electric heater.
