Small and perfectly formed, the Bonny Shiel is an antique, original shepherds hut which offers a cosy and romantic get away for couples or those with young children.
When you arrive at the hut and step inside, you can disconnect with modern life and reconnect with each other and the magic of fire and candlelight! The Bonny Shiel has a raised large double bed with lovely bed linens and blankets and a wonderfully comfortable mattress. There is a cute kitchen area, with a wood burning stove to warm the hut and to cook and heat food on. There is also a stainless steel cooktop.
Brass wall mounted candlesticks and other antique touches add old world charm and for smaller visitors there is a storage areas which doubles as a snug and sleeping area.
There is a wonderful wood burning stove for heating and cooking and an outdoor fire pit with a BBQ grill that can also be used to cook on.
The huts are provided blankets, washing up bowl, wood burning stove, cooking equipment, plates, bowls and cutlery. There will be a trug full of logs, kindling, firelight’s and matches. Extra firewood is available on site.
